Is my data stored?
No. Your blood groups are never stored or logged: they're used only for the moment it takes to compute your result, then immediately discarded. No biological data can identify you or reconstruct a test.
Is the result legally valid?
No. This test is informational only. It can exclude paternity with biological certainty, but can never prove it. Only a DNA test performed in an accredited laboratory has legal value.
What is the Kell system?
The Kell system is a third blood group (antigen K). Enabling this option increases the exclusion power of the analysis. It is shown on your blood group card or on your medical prescription.
How long does the analysis take?
The genetic analysis is near-instant: the result is computed as soon as the form is submitted.
Can a genetic anomaly distort the result?
In very rare cases, yes. Certain rare genetic phenomena — the Bombay phenotype, weak or partial Rhesus variants (weak/partial D), silent alleles, chimerism or mutations — alter the expression of a blood group and may lead to a false exclusion. These situations concern about 0.01% of the population. An exclusion by blood groups therefore remains close to 100% reliable, but in case of doubt, only a DNA test can settle it.
Can a laboratory error affect the test?
Yes. The result depends entirely on the accuracy of the blood groups entered. A typing, handling or transcription error during the laboratory analysis can distort the verdict. Check your groups on your blood group card or a medical prescription before running the analysis.
